Our History
The Schuett Companies, Inc. were founded by John “Jack” Schuett in the late 60’s. Jack was a pioneer in the affordable housing arena. Over his career he syndicated and developed more than 3,000 multi-family units representing over 30 different partnerships, becoming one of the largest portfolios in the state at that time. By 2011, many of the properties Jack developed had been sold and the portfolio was just over 1,000 units.
However, since 2011 The Schuett Companies has continued to grow and expand. TSCI has added 497 units, including a market rate assisted-living facility (Flourish) in Golden Valley and is continuously exploring opportunities for development in the Midwest.
In addition to property management and development, TSCI launched CompassionCare in 2011. CompassionCare is a company that focuses on providing services to seniors and disabled individuals that live in the buildings TSCI manages. Through CompassionCare, we are able to empower residents to live independently longer than they would be able to otherwise.
Schuett employs over 100 full and part time employees across its various entities.
